the starwars scroller coded by Chaos was in the Just Buggin' demo by ACF.
Prefer the LOSTBOYS demo with 4 screens and nice track !

That fullscreen-parallax-dist is still one of the technically advanced screen i ever saw on any platform. And it works on any ST!

the demo was very nice. (the menu & 1 screens of it) but those guys were so arrogant. From my point of view not so revolutionary because it was nearly all based on hardwarescrolling and ringbuffers, colorcycling. Perhaps that's the reason why amiga freaks were so surprised. :) I think the parallax scroller was based on hardwarescrolling and colorcycling.

Can't belive I missed to thumb this one. Were and still is one of my fave megademos on the ST. I just wish they had made a multipart demo before quitting.
Brilliant megademo possibly featuring the best fullscreens ever on ST. A must see.

Now the hardware scroller is disabled, means the screen adress is not changing anymore.
The display area is about 5 screens high.
You can check this by moving around in memory: use the keypad.

The overscan dist scroller screen is the one everybody recalls. DSOTS has some more nice screens tho. Anyway, this was sick shit when it was released, and it still rocks :)
Spectacular digi-sound music in the menu, screens tend to be impressive yet visually a bit dull.

This used to be one of my favorite demos... Watched it hundreds of times, especially the fullscreen distorter. Actually I finally understood the trick and used it for the fullscreen diagonal distorter in the Ventura Demo...

My favourite ST demo at the time and definitely one of the best ST demos of all time! Absolutely brilliant! Includes some very impressive overscan screens!
Didn't watch this back in the day but it must have been revolutionary in '91. Lots of flawless fullscreen action.
