I had problems running it (But nice error message anyways ;)
Actually the bug was something about not finding a texture (with greek chars,. so you make the usual mistake some groups make, to name their textures with their own codepages instead of english, so my OS sees is it like greek chars because that's the codepage I have installed and confuses it,. and then I got exceptions I press OK, went to the cow scenes and then it crashed again ;P) Was kann ich machen? I want to see this demo..
optimus: where can I find your e-mail address? :) Please try to run the demo with documented switch -dbg and send me the error.log debug.log and a description of the failure. My email address is obvious :)

I judge this in a pure demoscener view. Its kicking asses because:
Its have a clear message and story. Thats so fucking rare. And its tell unvarnished the truth, give a shit about to be in the minority (this will never stops our bbq ;-D). No stupid tunnels, spikeballs, tentacles, cubes and BULLSHIT like this. Technical good. Its one of the (still) very feeeeeew prods i can clear remember and associate direct with bp05.
I wish much more demos would follow this example that Speckdrumm kicks in your boring flyby-asses.

Although i'm a big friend of all kinds of dead animals, this seemed more like a jokeprod than a real attempt to do a scary demo. But i wont give it a thumb down because it was so different from all the other shit.

All those lads having problems caused by their codepage (caused by the demo trying to load the texture 'weiß.jpg') can now get a slightly updated version of the release _TNSSE_party.zip]here. Thanks Optimus for testing it beforehand.
Now some words about the release alltogether: Thank you for your comments, we didn't really expect the demo to come through to you in such a manner :) Due to the fact that everyone was expecting yet another more or less funny joke-release from us we decided to do quite the opposite but still wanted to do something uncommon. The demo wasn't intended to be a vegan demo or anything but some people are not aware of what actions have to take place so they'll be able to buy their steak at the local super market. So awareness is probably what it's all about. As you can imagine this is no realistic display of what's going on at a slaughterhouse but some aspects of it aren't so wrong either. Personally I turned out to be more considerate concerning meat products since I've been involved in the production and I guess that's not really a bad thing :)

bwahahahaa... too great. One of the few story demos which really conveys not only a convincing story, but manages to make you get hold of the characters' intentions and motives.
