Holy macaroni! Totally deserved first place.

brilliant
Totally agree here even the competition to 1-2 other demos was quite good :)
Awesome 3d, but not 1st for me.
Great production
This was awesome :D. Truly deserved 1st place. Oh, and... Video? Anyone? :)
YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_2P31K9mRs - a very smooth (yet unrealistic) capture video.
A well deserved 1st place - they finally did it! \o/

Absolutely amazing! Great graphics, superb soundtrack (link, please)!
kiero, i love you.
Technically this is something from entirely another world .. and the soundtrack, whoa. I'm a sucker for EPIC soundtracks. Of course one could say that it's "just 3D", but at least it's about the height of "3D" shit I've ever seen on 68k Amiga. Two thumbs up.
Total incoherence, some pointless flyby scenes and a polish color scheme. Still liked it. The shadows, blob-metaball-field-thingy and greetings part were ace.
Still amazing what you get out of this old maschine.
maximum respect, quality stuff, which is rarely seen on amiga. the soundtrack blew me away too, as did the visuals. a worthy winner.
Awesome for AGA-machine.
This is not happening.
deepest respect, it was awesome to experience this at the party.
Holy shit! Amazing 3d.. what parts were realtime?! :D
yeah awesome :)
Superb.
congrats dudes, this time you made it!!!
elude progresses, excellent !
finally you guys made it! congratz for this!
about the demo: the 3d looked very nice, but some parts were slow as hell. the more polys/textures the slower the scene. i esp. like the shadow tube effect and the one with the sharp 3d objects in the rear and the unsharp objects in the front. these were nice. the light coding was great, too. the music was epic.
this demo was kinda different than all others shown in the compo.
for me there is just one wish open: please make your stuff run faster. while seeing the first scene i thought: beautiful, but a PC is a better machine to show this (nice!) 3d modeller work than an amiga.
however, i really look forward to more stuff from you guys and thanks for the demo!

Kiero jumped and smiled like a little kid :D
Haven't set the "AMIIIIGAAA" up yet at home, but what I witnessed from the grandstand was an utterly EPIC production.

Greetings from planet Nah-Kolor!
Really great, but some scenes looks like a placeholders. For example, the frames from 2:50 to 3:10 and from 3:30 to 3:48 can be easily dropped out.
On the contrary, the crashed smoking ship scene is too short
By the way, the greets part is very original, I like it.

excellent work
Awesome! I prefer the "effect parts" over the more standard fly-by stuff though, so a bit unbalanced there. However, that's just nit-picking..
Way too low framerate for my taste.
this was an AWESOME demo :) many congrats !
love it
Ok, you finally won with this style. Now you can finally go make a real demo.
Good god.
kiero the megahero!
A masterpiece! That just blew me off right into the orbit! I was like.. WHAT.. THE... FUCK while watching the stream! Zajebiste! :)
Great demo, epic music and epic effects.
However, whenever I see Elude demos I can't help thinking how much better they'd look on a modern PC or console.

AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<3 !
The 'plot' left me a little confused, but totally awesome otherwise!
wade: that's why they're looking for a pc coder in the endscroller i guess ;)
Good stuff, Elude fills the AMIGAAAAH gap that TBL left ;)

great
@ubik: It does run on newer WinUAE versions with a little JIT adjustment. The video was taken with WinUAE 2.0.1. I'm not quite sure, but I think turning off the JIT-FPU emulation (not the actual FPU emulation) did the trick for me.
instant thumb. ace work!
AMIGA!
ELUDE = new TBL!!!
Indeed cool and truly awesome work.
Was enjoyable on the party big screen. Good soundtrack in epic "cinema" style.
Thumbs up!
Overall, great demo but, please, do not sacrifice the framerate anymore "à la TBL". ;)

really awesome. great soundtrack as well.
Thank you ELUDE! This Demo Roxxx!
Amigaaaaaa!!!
omg that
Saw this running and looked freaking great - excellent stuff!
gfx and epic music == instant love
but a story is missing from it
but a story is missing from it
my software score is : 9000 polys boned with lowres shadows in supersampling [2x] 320x200 at 100 frames/s on P133, PCI. the I do invent pixelshaders, with something like little panties to 20000 polys 40-50 frames/s sacrified 3d woman in 640x400...
amiga scene do not make 3d effects only !
elude better than TBL now
I have a hard time to judge this demo, it does look awesome, it does sound awesome. But the low frame rate totally spoils it for me. Can't bring myself to thumb it up (yet), maybe the promised final version will change that. ;)
So yeah, solid effort, good ideas, nice demo -- but like StingRay says -- the FPS is questionable. Feels a bit warped to be complimented on doing scenes that, according to the framerate, you actually not *really* pulling off on the platform..
The choir rules.... Great visuals and all, reminds me a bit of the good old ppc demos.
Great theme :)
Is it possible to render an HDish (non realtime) version of the demo?
Is it possible to render an HDish (non realtime) version of the demo?
Brilliant!
fucking wicked, even though there (apparently) is no real amiga that can run it perfectly... (if only there really was a 68090 :_))
HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT.
great 3d
this was really good
I like it ! =)
A worthy winner for AMIGAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Wow! Fucking awesome!
The video looks great. Respect. But i'm the only one dreaming on running it on a pc? The music and the direction is great, with more screen resolution and effects (in a PC) it will be amazing.
great stuff..well deserved #1 at BP 2010. congratz
Hmmm in my eyes worse than Lightshaft and Soliloguy. Slow fps, no direction today. Music was not as good as in two previous demos. Sorry but pig.
Epic demo. Would surprise me to see this nominated for best demo 2010.
Would NOT ... :-)
massive!
impressive.
not bad.
so massive I couldn't believe. Ok. Framerate could be better.
Thinking about the "running it on a PC" I have a little fear that it would lose some of its magic.
That doesn't mean that I wouldn't appreciate an Elude PC demo.
That doesn't mean that I wouldn't appreciate an Elude PC demo.
elude is teh r00x000r!
Boring fly-by
Or maybe not
yep, looks like TBL's succession is secure :)
most mawi/elude prods use AHI/Cybergraphics and run fine on Peg/MorpOS systems. So, pretty much like watching it on a PC (framerate boost, etc)
I'm sure this one is no exception and should run fine under MOS?
I'm sure this one is no exception and should run fine under MOS?
Even if I wished to see another TBL demo for the Amiga on this year's breakpoint, I really have to say that I loved seeing this one in the compo! A very good work. Keep up the great work!
rulaz!
One word... AMIGAAAAA
while technially impressive this somehow lacked design. Still good.
Finally Elude manages a well deserved win at BP. Great demo!
Techically very nice visuals, just a bit boring and overbearing at times.
Really amazing! :O
Well that was.. ok
absolutely amazing ! what a great piece of art in every single aspect ! I bow for the masters.
eye candy
Epic.
Hm, I get no sound.. AHI or what?
excellent
Well polished product and ruled on the bigscreen for sure! I think the soundtrack carries this one quite a lot though..
This is some very serious stuff. I'm really impressed! Even in a PC demo competition it wouldn't be ridiculous.
Elude are for Amiga what Plastic are for PC. And I am happy to see they finally manage to win a 1st place in this compo.
awesome lightning! looking forward to the final :)
Extremely good engine filled with extremely good content, surely rules!
Very impressive by Elude, once again.
Epic but i liked some other entries more.
The Soundtrack is a killer!
256 simult. colours on-screen?
Well technically impresive.
I've liked the music, textures, some 3d scenes, and effects, and whatsover direction feels solid.
...RLZ! guys, just one complain,..in the tunnel, with those 2 light trails,...well what happens to the normals?¿ is it that way?

deserved the first place, even if I have to slightly wonder what it was all about :)
I'm not amazed but this being in the amiga demo compo... it should be in real wild...
u r my gods of amiga demoscene!
in my opinion not the best in the compo and not as good as tbl either, but probably best from elude and pretty impressive, graphically especially
Quite a 2010 amiga demo! Deserved 1st place for sure.
Needs custom mega-giga Amiga. Nice.
Plastic demo on Amiga <3 !!
I liked it more when it was running 12 fps on compo than on youtube in full framerate ;).The scene with the burning ship is the best one (especially the smoke! - even if it's baked, animation etc). Could have more music synching. Also some cameras are completely destroyed - kiero have you been touching those?
finally you won.
It was nice to party with you guys.
Incredible. Reminded me of a Plastic prod. :P
masterpiece!
I liked Lightsaft better, but this one is very good as well.
Impressive demo with an fantastic soundtrack!
awesome
Best on the BP'10! ^^
Elude finally won ;o) = satisfaction for BP in 2008. This prod has fantastic effects, impressive graphics...
But:
I expected kind of story, the beginning with future town and spaceship seemed to be kind of sci-fi film beginning. But not, demo is is showing different scenes.
I don't understand long part 2:39 - 3:15, it's long and weak comparing the 3D scenes after.
Why do you look for PC-Programmers???

hot stuff... give us more please!
you came in peace, and still you conquered :)
epic demo, and it felt so right to finally be able to give kiero the first place prize - and boy was he happy :). congratulations, and keep on rocking!

Hot hot hot! This demo really impressed me. Wow, totally a true wonder to watch!
awesome demo. Best Amiga demo compo in years
Is there also a Videoversion of this demo?
Not that the visuals ain't awesome... but the thing that stole my heart in this demo is the music.. Epic stuff !!!!
Not bad at all! keep making Amiga prods :-).
Nice even if a bit slow :(
I've never before been impressed by this 'amiga' thing this much.
elude roxx
This is way to slow on my 060/50 but i liked the music. Don't know if i like it enough to thumb it up so piggy for now.
Elude rulez!
Massive impressive!
epic!
you came in peace - and you made it!
well deserved 1st
Ubik:Im glad to hear you say that :)
Who in their right mind cant thumb this up ;)
Who in their right mind cant thumb this up ;)
I liked it! :) Some good ideas in there, and great execution!
Lightshaft was also my personal favorite at last years Breakpoint, but Elude did it once again greatly. I personally liked more the previous one than this. Anyway Elude was clear winner with "We come in peace" this year. Btw sountrack was superb again, congrats to all the guys who put their efforts to this prod.
It's a "big" 3D engine with a lot of content stuffed into it, but it's not an especially good engine. Still looks good, if you can ignore the framerate. Which apparently a lot of people can, so yay.
kick ass !
Nice!
Excellent!! Great music, gfx and outstanding code. Gratulacje 1go miejsca, Gentlemen! Finally!
very impressive to watch :)
great
I can't remember exactly how slow it ran on the stream, and the only way to watch it now is the faster-than-real-HW-youtube video. A capture from real HW would be nice, just for comparison.
Still, the epic soundtrack and the pushing-the-limits 3d-engine is enough for a thumb up from me, even if it happens to run slow!

sdw, you can get the compo video here
Thanks ryg, much appreciated!
best demo from elude i've yet to see.
have no clue how you managed to get some of those effects working realtime on the amiga. guess some pre-rendered video trickery was involved.
still, big respect.

What has been seen cannot be unseen.
Really nice scenes and that soundtrack... were they singing AMIIIGA?:) Well will wait for the improoved framerate version before a final judge.
Ubik: forget about PC division and if you want to do perfect eyecandy hires demos with decent framerate then better wait a bit for the upcoming Natami.)

Best joke ever. :D
^^ :D
yea, almost as funny as the kkapture requests for Amiga prods :'D
quite nice but i prefer lightshaft more
Excellent! Just plain excellent!
Epic soundtrack and awesome 3d effects. Great demo.
What I've seen in the youtube video is awesome. How about a proper capture?
Ahem...
Albeit to the SLOW side you so deserved to win this.
Some scenes are too DOF'ed though, and as others said I would've liked to see the burning spaceship for a bit longer :)

obviously this cannot be real
the greeting scene alone is so well made!
awesome
the terrible framerate ruined most, if not all, of the massive effects...
Great to watch on a 68090 pegasos tho :)
Great to watch on a 68090 pegasos tho :)
An impressive work of course, but as Grimmy said, framerate really sux sometime... When I have a look at the last TBL released, it's obvious you could put some tricks to cheat everybody :)
wow.
Don't know if it was the framerate or too dark textures, but there were some moments when I was thinking "What the hell is happening here". Nice demo anyway :)
ps: define "realtime" ;)
Gloomy (but not dull) visuals, epic soundtrack.
nice blobs !
nice blobs !
i totally hate this sort of soundtrack tho !
nice blobs !
i totally hate this sort of soundtrack tho !
interesting.
technically great, but I didnt really remember it
Just awesome once again
Please change this ugly screenshot.
Świetna produkcja. Gratulacje!!!
Wow!! Super music and 3d effects!
What is that ? A PC demo running on an Amiga ? :)
No feeling, no interest except of course the coding performance.

great work
Another epic cinematic story style Elude demo, great work guys.
This is the demo full of feeling heheh:)
awesome !
Co tu kryć, na big screenie wyglądało zajebiście, nawet biorąc pod uwagę framerate. Czapki z głów :-)
THX for the final
woow
Ok, it's sometimes really slow (especially the begining) and scene are often too dark... but the coding perf is impressive. Nice music too, as usual with Chaser.
Awesome stuff... Great work, Chaser!
Nice technically I guess (not sure on which hardware it was running exactly), but missing something in the "story". Also looks like there's quite a lot of glitches and screen wrapping, or was that due to the video capture?
68090!
To watch on OS4 use "-cgx -ahi -morphos -double", and it works fine (and fast)
ace! soundtrack download available somewhere?
ah, nevermind, soundtrack is in the archive ;-)
oh bloody hell ...
works perfect on morphosed mac g4 400
great demo!
Some parts are really nice!
Fantastic! Wonderful! Amazing!
just awesome!
forgot to thumb it up. great work!
Well deserved 1st place!
One more time - Really great prod!
!!
Damn, Elude, why are you so good?
Can't help but draw parallels with Linger in Shadows, though. Both build up to promise a lot, but at least this one delivers by taking Amiga hardware to the cutting edge. LiS didn't take anything anywhere.

quite ugly demo with pathetic music.
awesome music, awesome prod.
very cool renderings.
usually i dont like amigaish 3d flybies too much but this is an exception.
style!
style!
Great.
Perfetta.
Overall great demo. One of the best in the AGA league.
perfect sub-pixel + sub-texel !
<3
!
Cool! :)
Excellent effect, nice design, nice sound. Thumb up.
Another forgotten strong thumb up! Really great stuff.
Great demo! Except for boring balls part, the rest is of ASD class IMHO!
Amazing
Great demonstration!
Kinda killer. Atmospheric and well designed.
Extremely nice.
Awesome prod.
I'm not an Amiga fan boy - but, holy shit ! Awesome & impressive!
Epic prod! So graceful.
holy epic fuck! O_o awesome!
great
the rocks part is a bit illogical but well...

What no comment from me?? Lots of eye candy in here. Really peak chunky Amiga engine stuff. Everything is here basically
The rain/metaball particles part was intriguing.
The rain/metaball particles part was intriguing.
just had a re-watch today - still a great watch, mostly due to the masterfully crafted cinematic music holding all together really well, without getting too cheesy
