Didn't manage to get it running on my desktop (assertation fails after introduction text, win7 64bit/Radeon 270), but holy shit this actually run very decently for the most part on my laptop with an integrated sandy bridge GPU!
Very cool demo otherwise too, though I still liked the earlier style better. Big props for not repeating yourself though! Worthy winner.

Here's an easy fix if it crashes on ATI:
1. Go to "shaders" dir
2. Open textrender.glsl and kellop.glsl in a text editor
3. Add a single newline (or more, IDK I'm not your mum) to the end of the file.
4. Save, run, enjoy.

Ok so this wasn't as good as previous Hackers demos.
Music is catchy and yeah it was something different this time so that good. Effects were decent technically but weren't very pleasing in design sense, this demo had no consistency in the theme.
Some of the scenes had raytraced/marched balls but nothing very interesting wasn't done with this technique, only filters and non sensical scenes were applied. Yes that's what the previous Hackers demos did but that was completely ok because those felt consistence in the vaporwave demonstration vhs tape thingy sense, this did not have that, this jumped from a amiga demo on a pc style to a hack daniels jokedemo(dunno what to call this) to a tv show type. Just didn't feel right.
But it was still fun to watch so hey here's a thumb up.
