best trepaan demo yet. smart idea, excellent visual style, coherent throughout, seemlessly incorporating more modern effects with the retro style look, and even hinting at some of their previous prods which connects the dots of their "universe" of nonsense.

if I had to nitpick I would probably point out that there's something about the way the drums are layered in the track that feels a bit flabby to me, but the "rawness" of it also fits the visuals/theme really well, so I guess that works too :)
honestly, this is unbelievably good. you managed to make a demo that evokes the feeling of a late 90s DOS demo without resorting to any tired nostalgizing. instead the presentation is just—dare i say it—fresh?
this is some of the best cohesive design i've seen in a demo in years. even the subtle details like running different elements at different rates evoke a distinct cel animation feel. and it's all artifact free, aside from the meticulously composed intentional artifact imitation. and the music too, just perfect! my only nitpick is that the vignetting is too strong, especially when there's occasionally elements placed at the edges of the frame and they get too dark, but that's such a minor point i feel it's barely even worth mentioning.

Very, very, very well made with a soul to it as well. It felt like an oldschool Orange demo somehow - weird demostyle done in a coherent way that's fitting for 2023. Love it.

Hand timed a live performance, it's all janky af, but yea, kinda fits the bootleggy aesthetic ;D

The visual consistency is just fantastic; I know it's a good demo when I forget I'm watching a demo and just drop into it. The fake artifacts/post-processing really hit it home. Not gonna nit-pick about the music; I hear what others are saying, but it didn't bother me.

To me, the style of film grain + colors + brand logos feels really derivative of UFDD/Rainbow Clash demos, for example Way. It's still good though.

Fantastic look on this one! When you see that kind of vignette and old film look in most demos it loooks like the "oldification" is running in its own layer surgically separated by a nanometer thick film of lightsaber graphene away from the picture underneath. In this one it looks like the picture and the "old filmification" are one! Well done!
