Centripetality
-- CENTRIPETALITY -- This is Centripetality, the shooter game that will be released at Assembly Summer 2007 (2.-5.8. 2007). The game is at this point compiled for Windows (32bit), Linux (x86), MacOSX (Intel+PPC), FreeBSD (x86) and Solaris (SPARC). Gameplay ------------------- Your task is to shoot the enemy ships to gain score. There are two types of enemy ships (blue and red). Your ship is also either of these types. You can change the type with the "change type" button (see controls). If you shoot enemy ship same type as you are, the enemy dies instantly. If you shoot different type enemy, the enemy will shoot before it dies, with the type of ammo it is. You are immune to the same color shots that your ship is, at the point of impact. You must stay inside the outer ring of the map, and you may not go to the center of the map (the black hole). You will also die if you have a collision with an enemy ship. Example: You are red type and shoot red type ship -> Enemy dies instantly You are blue type and shoot red type ship -> Enemy shoots red shot and dies You are red type and red enemy shoots you -> You resist the shot You are red type and blue enemy shoots you -> You die Scoring ------------------- General rule: Shoot three of a kind (color) in row. To gain maximum score, you have to gain chains of kills. You gain chain by shooting three same type ships consecutively. When you shoot a non-consecutive ship (different type) the chain is set to zero. The chain is set to zero also if you reach the three consecutive kills. You will get additional bonus for shooting enemy ships with different color that the enemy ships are (but it makes the game a lot harder).
