Otherwise it will run slower or faster than it was designed for To ensure 60 FPS, you need: - A reasonable fast video card. For reference, the 720 version runs comfortably on a mobile RTX 3060 that is plugged in, or a RX 6600 with quite recent AMD drivers, as AMD luckily made their shader compiler less pedantic. - a 60-Hz display mode, if you have a 144 or similar fast screen - V-Sync set to Always On in the drivers - Driver features that limit limits the FPS to 30 should be turned off. * The intro calculates the music on the GPU in realtime, after starting to play an empty buffer. The first time you run the intro, it might be out of sync if the shader compilation is too slow, just press escape and restart it. * 300 MB ram (for the Crinkler decompression) * Tested on Windows 10 and Windows 11 only * 1 kb diskspace .Thank You ---------- - Blueberry and Mentor for Crinkler 2.3 .About the intro. ----------------- I've been wanting to try to get some actual music syncronisation between the GPU-calculated music and the effects, which is not exactly trivial in 1K. I also wanted to make a particle effect showing good old-fashioned spirographs, but I had to settle for the simplest versions. All in all, I feel that floatbeat on the GPU takes a lot of space in a 1K, and it doesn't leave a lot of room for nice (3D) visuals. I might go back to midi music, who knows... . . .:._\ _\.............................:.. : \ \ : :: ' \ Fulcrum memberstatus: :: : ------------------------ : :. seven.....................code .: : coplan...................music : : el.blanco................music : : ranger.rick..............music : : the.watcher.........code,music : : yncke.................graphics : : miss.saigon..............music : : kneebiter.................code : . :: :: / . ....................::......... . . . . . ..........::...../_ /_....... : : / / .: . .........: visit us at : :..../..... . :. .: --------------- :.
