it was very japanese, that natsumi in summer
vacation. very nice feeling for just being doing
nothing much :D and that "fanservice" part, where
she was showering. not too revealing imo. just
like in some mangas. really nice 3d and stuff. felt
like some japanese game/anime intro...

I guess getting a Japanische mag (with a lot of Japanische porn too ;), is a good motivation for me to start working hard for a really cool demo =)))
I found it!!! Xaxaxa =)))

Kinda sad that they sort-of stopped asking for it. I guess they had enough of the "kool shock"s.
windows 100% : japanese use sometimes english in their papers, magazine, websites... remeber on the roads they drive on left :)
i had received the same email (Optimus's link) before be published in nov2002 for 'piece of' demo (see my link ^) and after i received a true paper magazine
and i've received the same email in april2003 BUT i did NEVER received any answer and NOT received the magazine, so i did not know if our demo 'el bourrrinos' was published
if someone of you have a windows 100% magazine from 2003, can you email me if our demo was published in it please ? thanx in advance ;)

Now,Japanese demoscene is NOT active.
Many windows users don't know demoscene ! OH NO !!
Oh No! Damn I love Japanese. xDD
Well, seriously, I think Asian Sceners could be a really cool addition to the Demoscene. They would, imho, establish a very own, very cool style.
...or tatally spoil our japan-influenced style. :>
i heard there was japanese demo fans on Amiga but i never heard about any japanese demo production
mmm in fact i find this url: http://scene.jp.org/
but it's not available actually, maybe work in progress ...

RaHoW: I met one Japanese Amiga user last year who jumpered all his Amigas to PAL just in order to enjoy eurodemos.
GOT: you are japanese right ? can you shine some light on this ?
Weyland Yutani:
>you are japanese right ?
Yeah.
>can you shine some light on this ?
Sorry, Probably, it will be impossible by only my power.
Since the demoscene itself is not recognized in Japan.

It's not easy I think, for countries new to the demoscene, to evolve in that. Most time, it's just about few individuals who have the obsession for it, but later some people get bored and the scene is dead. I am wondering if the scene in smaller countries will ever evolve as the one in big ones. There was a scene in Greece a lot of years ago, it was dead and it is resurrected again. At least it's easier with the internet and new PCs today to make demos and get informed, but I am very very curious if we ever evolve to something big or die again..
erm, optimus, japan is not THAT small as you might consider it to be..
I know somebody would answer that ;)
I mean with a small scene or nonscene countries........

...I was just bored to finish my sentence elsewhere :P
It appears there are 2 Chinese dudes heading to Breakpoint - should be interesting to see what they think of the demoparty experience (:
The scene today is dominated by countries which hardly had access to micros fifteen years ago, why would it be impossible for "new" scene countries to make an impact?
what do you mean?
Heck, i come from one of those countries where there were hardly computers. It's just that in such countries, people who have computers almost all know each other (at least locally and through BBS/FidoNet also globally), and are all aware of the demoscene. Computer is a center of study and creativity. A typical speccy is not just a computer to play games or type e-mails or anything. The ROM invites to program something in basic. going from simle to advanced, you study then memory map, assembly programming, ... As opposed to a PC which is normally a consumer's device.
Where demoscene does not evolve too much, are commerce-oriented countries, such as USA and Japan. I have to think more on the back- and foregrounds, but with japanese, which are raised to work and make money... On the other hand, they've got tons of Artists, including marvellous 3D artists doing stuff just for fun... I don't know. I would give japanese demoscene more chance in the future than US. :>
