It's high time to present the new SV logo...



... whose author since 2000 is mOOnie / MSB and to announce the date of the summer edition of our event!

SV2023SE will take place from August 17 to August 20, 2023 (Thursday-Sunday).

Since many people ask me about the new venue, I decided to make a quick video to present it:

- the new venure is only 1 km from Gedanus!
- 1km to the old town!
- buffet on site!

- pizzeria and cafe on the ground floor of the building!

Staying faithful to ATARI's roots! This is the permanent motto of our event! Since 2000, we've been bringing together all the scenes related to Atari platforms - it's thanks to you that we are the largest multi-Atari platform event under the sign of Mount Fuji in the world!

Since a lot of people ask me in private messages about accommodation related to the summer edition of Silly Venture 2023 (and there are also those who already "booked" their favorite places on their own a long time ago), it's time to present a bit more detailed information on this topic. As I mentioned earlier, we plan to have a small sleeping room at the party place, but to this day I have no information on how large a group is interested in such an option - which is important because it will be very limited.



The first place I suggest is "DOM SONATA":

"Dom Sonata" during the academic year serves as a dormitory, while during the holiday season it serves as a hotel facility. It is located in a 4-storey historic 19th-century building on the campus of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk at Łąkowa 1-2 street (exactly in the well-known Dom Muzyka and on the same street as the party place - Łąkowa 35/38 street, Gdańsk).

- 400 m from the party place
- 400 m from the Old Town
- 400 m from the Polish Baltic Philharmonic
- 2 km from the Main Railway Station in Gdańsk
- 12 km from the airport

Due to the so-called "high season" during the summer SV there is no possibility of lowering prices, which are very attractive at the start in this place. Entering the password "ATARI" in the subject of the e-mail will result in booking rooms in the first place.

On the SV date at the moment (07/03/2023) the following rooms are available:
- 6 single rooms
- 14 double rooms
- 16 triple rooms

Room prices:
1-person: 180 PLN
2-person: 245 PLN
3-person: 310 PLN

Each room is equipped with a bathroom with shower, TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, fridge.

There is free parking on site.

The facility does not provide breakfast, but there are vending machines with sandwiches, salads, hot dishes, cold and hot drinks, and sweets.

Thanks to that, you will receive discounts on accommodation as follows:

Single room: 320 PLN ("ATARI" password - 290 PLN) + local tax - 2.80 PLN/day/person
Double: 390 PLN ("ATARI" password - 350 PLN) + local tax - 2.80 PLN/day/person

The room rate includes breakfast and VAT.

Pursuant to the resolution of the City Council, the local tax is not charged in the case of business stays.

For guests of "Dom Muzyka" there is a free, unguarded car park in the closed area of ​​the Academy of Music.

Resetting parking tickets takes place at the reception of "Dom Muzyka".

Please take into account that August in Gdańsk is quite an attractive month for tourists, so I would advise you not to delay your reservations for too long. Of course, if necessary, I will try to find another accommodation. From the very fact of organizing accommodation, neither I nor anyone from the SV team receives any financial gratification, which is why I am open to your suggestions regarding other places.

I am pleased to inform you that the world's biggest club of 8-bit "ATARI" lovers -



ATARI BIT BYTER USER CLUB ("ABBUC" from Germany) unanimously decided to support SV with numerous prizes and participate in the summer edition of SV2023SE!

We are in the process of creating the SV2023SE schedule, but we can already tell you one of its points - Skipp/Nah-Kolor will appear behind the music console with a strong dose of electro, breakbeat & drum'n'bass! Party regulars will surely know Skipp's achievements - this time, especially for SV2023, it will be enriched with an Atari thread! :)

Listen, at the moment the most declarations of entries are for Atari XL/XE and Atari ST/STe. Unfortunately, the fewest declarations of entries are for the Atari 2600 :( It would be a pity, because the prizes are, among others very nice original games (homebrew, but not only).

We will award prizes even when there is only one entry in a given category (categories: MSX, GAME and DEMO) - I think it's worth taking the glove

I would like to remind you that there are a few hours left to order SV2023SE T-shirts.



There are four colors to choose from: black, navy blue, grey and yellow. The sleeve logos "Atari" and "Gdańsk" have been moved to the back.

Of course, there will be additional pieces available at the party-place, but there is no guarantee as to the availability of a given color and / or size, so it's better not to risk it and reserve a specific shirt now!
