artpacks and pouet.net

why not adding artpacks on pouet ???
they r scene related productions,
and hey, yes they r not coded,
but most of the wilds r also not coded...
and mostly in every .nfo added to a production there
is an ascii in it... i ve seen many ascii´s in demo .nfo´s by dipswitch... so why not artpacks ?!

eh.. although i sort of agree with IgorBM, i must say that nfos != artpacks ...
yes, an asciis in a file_id.diz or in an info-file is something like an add-on to the main production. of course, artpacks are scene-related (and i love them), but there are (like i was saying before) other plattforms for them. and the wild-stuff is somewhere in between.
Although unse3n comes across as some sort of glop-grabbing troll-monkey he does raise a valid question. Do artpacks belong on pouet?
Who made who the authoritative figure who gets to make all these decisions? I looked high and low around pouet's FAQs and saw nothing of the sort which said they do not accept artpacks. If ACiD were to include one of their many viewers and tailored it to the pack, does it then become a "coded" release? Whats the big deal, the scene needs more good graphicians like theirs and I look forward to seeing more artpacks from ACiD on pouet!
