- demo Windows Superselection by Byterapers [web] & Doomsday & Future Crew
- Quote:If my memory serves it right, during to past-the-deadline-rush at friday evening, in editor it didn't cut the center pipe, but in executable it did o_O.
Why didn't the camera path dodge the accelerator tube?
"start making demo 2 weeks earlier" isn't the answer. There's always last minute (and overtime) rush when sand, wrenches and other things start clogging the gears, and this time there was more of that than ever. - isokadded on the 2024-08-05 17:36:34

- This is Assembly 2024 party/compo version, final release requires a little bit content tweaks and a lot of performance/visual fixes, we verily surely will release it in following weeks. Pinky swear.

it's a nice prod that fits a party and its atmosphere (which is a good thing) but not a demo to remember.
That was the goal 100% we didn't except anything else nor more. Music, the rhythm of parts and buildup in the end was done by audience at German demoparty in mind. No guilt there. - isokadded on the 2024-05-09 02:46:07
- demo Windows Rainmaker by Byterapers [web] & Doomsday
- For us both B and DSD guys this was production of friendship and "lets do something together instead just drinking" and it teched a lot. We'll do this again. I can't promise delivery date but most def there will be more from this crew, and it's going to be a) different b) hopefully better.

- Forgive me Gargaj my good friend (that ruin pub tour rules btw), there is a LOT of skill still missing there, but have some faith, this is our 1st try on modern PC after long era of DOS and C64 demos (except few HiRMU prods and one bad webgl demo). Old is not dead and we're learning as we go. Result was totally unexcepted, before the compo we hoped for top5 and after the compo we're gunning for top3. End result surprised us all but also many of the big gunts (spectrals, cncd-flt, cocoon) were MIA. I agree the coherence not being there and that end effect was one of the 1st we nailed to the timeline. One must start (again) from somewhere : )

- demo MS-Dos Pandemic by Byterapers [web]
- Nice saturday evening int the bar and later in the "morning" talking about demos with Pete/FIT on IRC came up with Pandemic. This was our 2nd attempt on PC after Drill Me, this time we had more crew and I was a huge fan of Mordicus sountracks (Jamm and Coma demos) and after long talk in some random BBS (or IRC, can't remember the details) he agreed to join our ranks. Soundtrack he produced was amazing! I was studying in Raahe but I rented an apartment in Iisalmi for the summer and week before Abduction 1997 we gathered with the full crew on my place and started hammering this one together. Few beers were consumed but mostly we dedicated for the demo. Come friday afternoon we're in a hurry finalizing the compo version so we can start out ~200km journey to Oulu. One part was still missing but we did that on Mysdee's place near the partyplace. I had to drive to Oulu and everyone started drinking - more they opened them bottles, more I pressed pedal to the metal. Nearing Oulu speed was something close to ~150-170km/h and ppl paused their drinking - they were afraid to die : D When we arrived to party place Mr.Sex got out, opened the trunk for more beers and puked for both sides of the car at the same time :> Lot of boozing happened and somewhere between the good times Sivu and others went to Mysdees place and did the final (greetings) part. IMO this is the one of the masterpieces of our 90s DOS era, I'm especially proud for Mr.Sexs voxel scene (in 2:10) and I absolutely love Mordicus soundtrack. I wonder how he's doing nowdays? Anyone? Still amuses me how Sivu made the sync for falling blocks.. /Mikron

- If only somebody could cast a spell that would rise MRI and Doom from their crypts.... or Mr.Sex.

Good to see a Doomsday demo again!
Yea even if there was only one (Wode) but it didnt felt right to call this prod (B) only since Wode has been there with us since the 90s (my teeenhood friend). But after tonights Wideload twins birthday party I maybe got Razorback/DSD also back for the next project! Sadly Dice/DSD doesn't warm up on my suggestions :/ - isokadded on the 2024-04-07 03:28:39

- Quote:Demo size is actually "only" half of that, there's 2 versions inside the zip, the other one is for capped GPU ram option.
Great visuals but 1GB download? jeez... that hurts!
