- demo invitation Windows EN-TROPY by Andromeda Software Development [web] & Minimalartifact [web] & enoughrecords [web]
- absolutely amazing, best work from ASD in the past ten years ago or so, and quite possibly the best demo this year. haunting, austere, and honest. some of the most beautiful imagery i've seen come out of a graphics card (paired together with sound) in a long time.
is what i would've said at least, until the tacked on invitro portion kicked in. certainly soured the mood and overall impression, but... eh, it's still really good, i love it. i just wish it didn't try to advertise something to me, despite the thing advertised being something i have nothing against obviously. - rulezadded on the 2024-10-09 20:22:12
- 8k Windows fr-minus-210: Attractor by Farbrausch [web]
- the music sells it, nothing more needed, but the visuals esp. towards the end are pretty as well, although i would've chosen some of the palettes more carefully

- jammer can do no wrong. also, just really good in general. i appreciate that the design and pacing succumbs into the self-indulgent territory barely at all here, unlike many other prestige level C64 megademos from recent years. everything is more or less consistent and the demo maintains a good flow considering the material, although there's perhaps a a lack in focus as every individual part feels a bit tacked on both in terms of music and visuals. i still love the individual ideas here, very novel and complicated looking effects (although as a novice i can't comment on the actual underlying technical complexity).

- demo Windows Anthropogenesis - The Universe, Part 4 by mfx [web]
- never really got anything out of this one this one. pretty enough, but ultimately four and a half minutes of a single visual idea that doesn't really deliver on its potential. or maybe it's just that the music doesn't work for me at all; i don't feel anything.
